All products listed here have been recommended by a twin mum. But since quality can change over time, if you are not happy with one of the products recommended here, please do let me know!
Support: Twin pregnancies tend to show quite quickly and usually grow larger than singleton pregnancies (on average a twin pregnancy will reach ‘full term’ singleton size by around 26-28 weeks). By 5 months i felt like my belly was ‘dragging’ me to the ground. It is therefore often useful to use a maternity support belt. It will make you feel more comfortable, provide support and improve that ‘dragging’ feeling. The belt most recommended by twin mums to be is Jojo Maman Bebe.
Nutrients: With twins you will need more nutrients and iron supplements. I am not a big fan of chemically derived vitamins so my go to supplement was from Mega Foods. It’s expensive but totally made of fruit and veggies. Below the NHS advice on pregnancy supplements:
Oil: Stretch mark oil is highly recommended in twin pregnancies due to the sheer size the tummy has to stretch to. I used oil religiously every day and ended up with no stretch marks at all (that being said I only went to 32 weeks so still smaller than a full term twin pregnancy!)
