This is the top selection of Twin buggies recommended by the twin members in our club. I will only add buggies that get the most positive reviews from the mums! The twin buggy that currently comes out top rated is the Mountain Buggy Duet.
Key accessories you will need with any buggy are: A raincover (or raincovers if you start with carrycots/car seats), car seat adaptors, two footmuffs. Carrycots and car seats need to be purchased separately.
Footmuffs: You can buy many lamb or sheepskin footmuffs in the UK and they are not cheap. These are fantastic for really harsh winter conditions such as the US. I don’t think you need to spend that kind of money here. A fleece footmuff will be more than enough in the UK.
TWIN BUGGIES: MOUNTAIN BUGGY DUET
The Mountain Buggy Duet is lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. It can be easily configured with carrycots, car seats or side by side seats. It is also easy to fold. As such it is currently the favourite twin buggy! The only issue appears to be that the inflatable tyres can burst depending on terrain. I therefore recommend the purchase of puncture resistant tyres (also on this site)

TWIN BUGGIES: ICANDY PEACH BLOSSOM
The icandy Peach Blossom is also a top seller with twin mums despite it’s hefty price tag. It’s re-sell value is excellent and it is a real designer piece! It’s lightweight (although not as light as the Mountain Buggy) and very versatile in configurations which is probably it’s main selling point! It can be used as a single pushchair, a double, parent facing or world facing. Carrycots must be purchased separately. Once the twins grow past 6-8 months the twin at the bottom may start to want to see more so you will need to alternate seating or buy a side by side buggy. The weight may also make it a little less manoeuvrable past a certain age point.

TWIN BUGGIES: BABY JOGGER CITY SELECT
The Baby Jogger City Select stroller is very practical in the city because of how narrow it is (since kids are one in front of the other rather than side by side). It also has the advantage of taking carrycots and car seats. It can easily be converted from a single baby to a twin buggy and vice versa (please note that you need to buy a ‘single baby’ buggy and add a ‘2nd child’ pack to make it a twin buggy (as per photo in gallery). I used this buggy for the first 8 months and it was very easy to go into the shops with! I then found that it became a little heavy to manoeuvre around due to the weight of the baby in front. My girls also started fighting over who went were so I switched to a side by side buggy (and sold this one second hand). I highly recommend the maxi cosy car seats for this buggy as the adaptors are much easier and solid!
